I work with our primordial energy in a very feminine way. I call forth this loving energy, letting it emerge rather than beam. It's gentle, strong, swirly, warm, cool, mutable, and always in service to the intention that has been set by myself and the healee. The process is more like a revealing, slowly releasing the layers so that your truth may shine. It destroys and it nurtures. Since we are all made up of energy, my job as a practitioner is to refine and bring forth energy within you that is aligned with your well-being. It is like calling that greatest aspect of who we are to work on our behalf and show us who we are. Typically, energy is transferred to the client through the hands of the practitioner using light or no touch. I do this in both distant and in-person sessions.
Energy healing is practiced in hospitals, alongside psychiatric protocols, for pets, in ceremony, massage therapy, in physical therapy, and the list continues. There is really no limit to what it can do for you or how it can be used. It is up to the person who is receiving the energy to open up to the possibilities of an energy that is truly infinite. During my sessions, I feel a distinct, warm and mushy sensation in my Heart Chakra region and a deep sense of compassion for the person I am working with come over me. This loving energy and myself are simply facilitators in your own healing journey, very powerful facilitators, but facilitators nonetheless. It is the recipient who does the real healing through their openness, intention, and willingness to receive. After a session with me, clients have reported relief from chronic pain, deep relaxation, improvements in their ability to focus, or an overall sense of well-being. The possibilities are truly endless...
I do both In-person (Phoenix metro area) and Long-distance Reiki healing sessions. Contact me for an appointment at [email protected] and let's get to work!
Healing energy and the practice of channeling and working with energy to benefit others has always been around. There are many names that have been used to describe this divine energy spanning different cultures: Prana(India), Mana(Hawaii/Polynesia), Pneuma(Ancient Greece), Ntu(Bantu), Nilchi(Navajo), Adonvdo(Cherokee), Num(Kung Bushmen), Iwa I'ewa(Yoruba), and the list goes on. "Animal Magnetism" , a termed coined by Dr. Franz Mesmer, made headway in Europe starting in 1779 and was in practice over fifty years before it was phased out. However, it is no accident that we still use the word "mesmerize" to refer to a trance-like state. In Christianity and Judiasm we see energy work being done with the practice of laying on of the hands. Through art work and household items, artists and craftsmen have long imbued their work with healing energy and intention.
Reiki, the more familiar term, refers to the system that was developed and associated with the Japanese monk Mikao Usui and made popular in the west by Hawayo Takata. Mikao Usui traveled a lot and studied with many different cultures before he became aware of this energy within around 1922. It is said that when he was at his monastery the energy struck him. He developed the technique to share it with others over time. All throughout the internet you can find so many different forms of Reiki that people have invented. That in itself shows that the energy can not be contained or restricted. There is an endless quest to feel an apex to possibilities of primordial energy. Because of this, I propose the only possibility to healing work is growth. There is no apex. The more we explore how healing energy works, the more we begin to truly know the infinite nature of ourselves.
